| Job Description | This is a contract position with the following details: Duration: Start Date: ASAP QUALIFIED SOCIAL WORKER – FOSTERING TEAM – KENT – PAY- NEGOTIABLE Start SUMMER 2010 with a new challenge Temporary Social Work FOSTERING Jobs in KENT This independent private fostering client are looking for a dedicated, determined and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join their fostering team on a temporary basis. For this job you will need to combine your professional experience, knowledge and skills to deliver a coordinated package of support that is focused around the children or young people involved, aimed at meeting their needs and ultimately improving their lives. Responsible for your own caseload, you will focus on providing assessments of special guardians and foster carers and act as a family finder for children in need of long term fostering. To be considered you must have previously worked within a Local Authority fostering team or private setting and have a proven track record with up-to-date knowledge on current legislation. GSCC registration, valid enhanced CRB and references covering the last 5 years are all also required.
