Support Worker roles available in Greater Manchester. £7.50 - £8.50 per hour.

You will have the opportunity to work for a reputable organisation that runs several homes within the North West. The service provides a safe and caring residential environment for children and young adults with severe emotional, behavioural difficulties and learning difficulties.

Your new role
As a support worker you will be providing support to vulnerable children and young adults in a residential setting. You will be expected to carry out risk and needs assessments, create reports and work collaboratively within a team. In addition to applying safeguarding policies and procedures whilst caring for the vulnerable persons in a residential setting, on activity days and whilst promoting independence.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, relevant experience within a similar role is essential. An NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People is desirable. The successful Support Worker will also be adaptable, have excellent communication skills and must work well in a team.
