Your new company
Our client is situated close to the seaside town of Lymington, so has the advantage of being located in the beautiful countryside, close the coast & a sizeable town, the school provide specialist educational care for children with Asperger's Syndrome & Autism between the ages of 7 years – 19 years. The School has it's own extensive grounds which contain an outdoor swimming pool, an angling lake & both grass & hard-court surfaces for recreation.
Your new role
As a support worker you will provide excellent care & support for children & young adults. You will be working 40 hours per week, with either morning or evening shift patterns. Previous experience is not essential for this role, as the client will enrol you on to an induction training programme during your first week with ongoing support to obtain a QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed as a Support Worker, you will have excellent communication skills & be a good team player with lots of energy that’s ready to help out & get stuck in, you will have a caring approach & want to make a difference to children’s lives. A Driving Licence with access to a car, is preferred as the site is not situated close to a public transport route. Previous experience is not essential as training will be given.
