An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Worker to join a charitable organisation on the South Coast on a full time permanent basis. The residential home in Bognor Regis cares for young adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities. They are looking for a caring and flexible Support Worker to join their team on a full time basis to include weekends and the occasional sleep in.
Your new role
Your new job will be will include providing physical and emotional support to the homes residents, attending outings such as lunch dates, cinema trips, visits out and about in the community and social events.
This is a very varied role and will include providing all aspects of care and support, from assisting with mealtimes to supporting with fun days out.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this opportunity, you will need at least two years experience within health and social care, ideally within learning disabilities, but full training and support is provided.
Ideally you will hold an NVQ2 or equivalent in Health and social care, or the desire to work towards one.
