You’ll be working for a leading national charity within Social Care dedicated to helping people live the nest lives possible. You’ll be working a flexible basis in both supported living and residential settings.
Your new role
As a support worker your role will be varied whilst working with service users aged 30-80 with learning disabilities and autism. You’ll be supporting them in the community, promoting healthy eating, helping to budget and helping to make meals. You’ll be required to carry out personal care and encourage personal hygiene.
What you’ll need to succeed
You’ll need to be confident working with adults with LD and have a minimum of 6 months experience within social care over the last 24 months. . Having an NVQ L2 or L3 in Health and Social Care is desirable and being able to drive is a must.
