Your new company Through Hays you will be working in a supported living setting for adults with learning disabilities. Based in Tewkesbury, this setting is part of an established company which is dedicated to promoting independence and enhancing lives. Your new role As a support worker you will be supporting the 7 residents, aged 35-70, with day-to-day living as well as engaging with them and helping to promote their independence. Shifts are varied from 7am until 9pm. What you'll need to succeed You’ll need to be open minded and cooperative with both the permanent staff and the residents. It’s imperative that you use your initiative. You will be encouraged to support the service users rather than do for them. NVQ L3 in Health and Social Care is beneficial, but not compulsory. You’ll need to be willing and able to travel to Tewkesbury.
