Care Services Manager, 55K per annum, residential school for children with learning difficulties.

We are looking for an experienced Care Services Manager to join our established team in Swanage, Dorset. As a leading provider of specialist healthcare services we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care to most vulnerable children. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join us on this journey of change and implementation of new practices.

Your new role
The Care Services Manager will be responsible for service delivery and maintaining high standards of care through effective line management. This will include regular audits and reviews of the quality systems. Promoting the services offered to young people and children plays a key part of your role and you will be tasked with establishing good working relationships with parents, social workers, personnel and external inspectors. As a Care Services Managers you will provide clear guidance and direction to Care Managers and staff and monitor compliance to Cambian policies and procedures at all times to ensure effective team working.

What you'll need to succeed
Successful candidate will possess exceptional knowledge of good management practices, current legislation and Children's Act 1989. These need to be coupled with knowledge of autism, learning disabilities or special needs associated with the children and young people. You will be qualified to QCF/NVQ level 5 and have a clean, full driving licence. Other desired qualifications are Registered Manager's Award, Train the Trainer or similar, however these are not essential. You will have proven track record of managing a similar care provision with at least 5 years of working in this sector and a minimum of 3 years in a management post.
