Registered Manager required for Chichester nursing home, £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.

Your new company

A medium sized nursing home in Chichester require a new CQC Registered Manager to join their established clinical team on a full time basis. The nursing home cares for elderly frail and palliative care residents. The home is set in a beautiful location with well kept grounds and fantastic local amenities.

Your new role

Your new role as Registered Manager will be to take joint responsibility with the owner as the person-in-charge for day-to-day running of the home. To promote a caring environment for service users through high standards of professional practice which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of the service users. To ensure that each service user receives care appropriate to their individual needs. To implement the requirements of the National Minimum Standards for Care Homes for older people.

This position is a full time Monday - Friday role for 37.5 hours per week.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need to be an experienced and confident Home Manager, with commitment to the highest standards in social care and the dedication to lead and motivate a passionate clinical team.

At least two years' experience in a senior management capacity within the previous five years
A management qualification or care equivalent to NVQ Level 5
Able to take responsibility.
Leadership skills.
Self motivated.
Organised.
Flexible.
Caring.
Sensitive to the needs of others and to the sick or infirm.
An active team player but also able to work on own initiative.
