“Much more than just a job.  It’s the way that you do it that matters.”

•    Excellent training and development opportunities
•    Great job satisfaction
•    Good team-working

Here at Bellfield in Banchory, we don’t just see those we work with as older people. They’re someone’s mum. Someone’s dad. Someone’s grandparent. For us, providing the best quality of care is hugely rewarding and our goal is to ensure that every one of our residents enjoys the best possible quality of life.

Something as simple as a smile can make the world of difference to our day, and theirs.  If you share our belief, this is your opportunity to join our close-knit and supportive team.  It can be pretty challenging at times and priorities can change quickly so you will definitely need to be a patient and understanding individual. We work closely together as a team though – there’s always someone to talk to and we all help each other out wherever we can.

While an SVQ 3 qualification in Social Care would be ideal, it’s not essential as we’ll support you to gain it. In fact, we’ll make sure that you have all the training and development you need, not only so you can do a great job, but to help you build your career with us too. For the full and part time posts, you can also look forward to an excellent benefits package that includes an employer contributory pension and generous holiday allowance.

What’s more, you will be part of one of Scotland’s largest voluntary social work organisations. At CrossReach, we offer quality care and counselling to a wide range of people in need. But the real story of CrossReach is the work that our staff do: reaching out and making a real difference to the lives of others. If you’d like to join them, we look forward to hearing from you.

As we do our work in Christ’s name you must be respectful of our Christian Ethos and be able to work within it. You do not need to share our faith. These posts are subject to PVG Membership.

CrossReach is the operating name for The Church of Scotland Social Care Council.
