Children's Support Worker, Worthing, from £8.50 per hour

Hays Social care are recruiting for Children's' support worker jobs on a temporary basis to work with children with EBD and challenging behaviour in residential settings across Worthing.

Your new role
Working as a temporary children's support worker in the Worthing area you will be supporting children with EBD, challenging behaviour and physical disabilities. You will work to care plans, attend staff and resident meetings and provide all aspects of care for the children.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. You will need at least 12 months recent experience working with children in a residential setting. Ideally you will hold an NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or
a level 3 diploma in childcare in residential settings or an equivalent social care qualification. You must be able to develop good relationships with children and have previous experience in dealing with challenging behaviour. Driving is a bonus.
