Your new role
We are looking for a number of dedicated Support Workers to join our team of flexible and bank workers for services across Oxfordshire. Working for Hays Social Care you will be offered work in locations and settings to suit you. As we work with a range of clients and hours, this is also an ideal way to work your job around your personal commitments.
You will be working with people to help them develop their independence and will need to combine your professional experience and skills to work with adults and children on a day to day basis and to promote their independence and ensure that they have fun while staying safe.
What you will need to succeed
To be considered for this Support Work role, you will need to have experience working with adults/children with Learning disabilities, physical disabilities, challenging behaviour and/or complex and mental health needs.
You will also need either access to your own car or be able to travel flexibly on public transport. You will need to be compassionate, patient and level headed.
You will need to have a genuine desire to provide meaningful, considered support and the ability to thrive in a person centred environment.
