Support Practitioner - Stirlingshire. Full time, 36 hours per week (shift work including sleepovers), £21,333 - £22,752.
Changing lives takes a little time and space

At House of Newburn, Arnprior and Millmuir Farm, Gargunnock, Stirlingshire, we offer residential support services for children experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties. By adopting a child-centred approach our team works with the ‘whole-child’, focusing on improving relationships, enhancing personal development and attending education.

You will support our Lead Practitioner in every aspect of their role from implementing care and education plans to contributing to the assessment of each child’s needs. While an HNC Social Care and SVQ Level 3 qualification would be desirable, they are not essential as we’ll support you to gain them. In fact, we’ll make sure that you have all the training and development you need, not only so you can do a great job, but to help you build your career with us too.

In return we offer an excellent benefits package that includes an employer contributory pension and generous holiday allowance. What’s more we’ll make sure you have all the training and development you need, not only so you can do a great job, but to help you build your career with us too.

You will also be part of one of Scotland ’s largest voluntary social work organisations. At CrossReach, we offer quality care and counselling to a wide range of people in need. But the real story of CrossReach is the work that our staff do: reaching out and making a real difference to the lives of others. If you’d like to join them, we look forward to hearing from you.

As we do our work in Christ’s name you must be respectful of our Christian Ethos and be able to work within it. You do not need to share our faith. These posts are subject to PVG Membership.
