Your new company
You will be working for a well established, reputable company based in Stourbridge. The residential provision houses young adults between 16-25 with very individual needs. The home specialises with individuals who have autism, challenging behaviour and mental health issues.
Your new role
As a home manager you will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality service provided to the service users within the residential home. You will need to ensure that all health and safety and maintenance issues are reported appropriately and followed up correctly, along with CQC regulations. You will need to undertake on-call duty as part of the Residential House Manager on-call duty rota along with providing supervision for each member of the residential services staff within an allocated group of residential staff, individually or in small group as appropriate.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent) qualification along with experience of working with young people with learning difficulties and behaviours that challenge. You will ideally need to possess a high level of personal resilience to work within the home.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a very competitive salary, from £22,500- £25,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. There is also payment for sleep ins of £67.50, where required.
