Your new company You will be working as a support worker for an established family run company that is expanding to open their 5th home for children and young people with behavioural issues. Your new role You will work on a rota basis of two shifts on, two shifts off including the sleep shift. You will work as part of a team to engage and support a children's home that will be registered for a maximum of 3 young people. You will be supported by senior management and driven by success of positive outcomes for the young people. What you'll need to succeed You will need previous experience in a residential care setting or have worked with young people with challenging behaviours. You will require a care qualification preferably a Level 3 in Children and Young People's workforce or be willing to work towards obtaining this. A driving license would be desirable but not essential. What you'll get in return You will get to work as part of a team that has a family feel to it and receive a salary of £25,000 inclusive of sleeps. You will receive ongoing support and development and further training. Whilst on shift your meals will be provided.
