Fantastic Permanent opportunities are available to work as a Support Worker for well-established Care Providers who provide services for Adults and Children with learning disabilities, complex and mental health needs and EBD.
Our clients are looking for dedicated and passionate Support Workers to join their team in the Didcot area.
Your new role
You will be working with people to help them develop their independence and will need to combine your professional experience and skills to work with adults and children on a day to day basis and to promote their independence and ensure that they have fun while staying safe. You will be assisting with feeding, personal care, preparing meals and moving / hoisting. You will also be working in a stimulating and rewarding environment for companies that value its people.
What you will need to succeed
To be considered for this Support Work role, you will need to have experience working with adults/children with Learning disabilities, physical disabilities, challenging behaviour and/or complex and mental health needs. You will also need either access to your own car or be able to travel flexibly on public transport. You will need to be compassionate, patient and level headed. You will need to have a genuine desire to provide meaningful, considered support and the ability to thrive in a person centred environment.
