Your new company
Through Hays you will be working in a supported living setting for adults with learning disabilities. Based in Hull, this setting is part of an established company which is dedicated to promoting independence and enhancing lives.
Your new role
You will be supporting the residents by encouraging them to participate in day-to-day activities and promoting independence. You will be helping with feeding, personal care, preparing meals and moving / hoisting. You will also be working in a stimulating and rewarding environment for a company that really values its people.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll need to be open minded and forthcoming with the permanent staff and the residents. You’ll need to use your initiative and support service users with their daily needs. NVQ L3 in Health and Social Care is beneficial, but not compulsory. Ideally you will have at least 6 months recent experience in the care sector, subject to references.
