Creative Arts Co-ordinator - Kirkcudbright. Part time post, 2 hours - 4 hours per fortnight working Tuesday 1.30-3.30pm. From £17,137 to £18,018, pro rata of 38.5 hours per week (qualification bar applies).

“Much more than just a job.  It’s the way that you do it that matters.”

Here at Heart for Art in Kirkcudbright weenable people with dementia to connect with society and express themselves, whilst breaking down the barriers of preconception and stigma, through the creative arts.

As Creative Arts Co-ordinator you will organise and facilitate therapeutic creative arts workshops for our service users with dementia living in the local community. This will include providing creative arts activities in groups or a one-to-one basis. You should ideally hold or be willing to work towards an Arts based qualification. In return we’ll give you all the further training and development you need.

What’s more, you will be part of one of Scotland’s largest voluntary social work organisations. At CrossReach, we offer quality care and counselling to a wide range of people in need. But the real story of CrossReach is the work that our staff do: reaching out and making a real difference to the lives of others. If you’d like to join them, we look forward to hearing from you.

As we do our work in Christ’s name you must be respectful of our Christian Ethos and be able to work within it. You do not need to share our faith. These posts are subject to PVG Membership.

CrossReach is the operating name for The Church of Scotland Social Care Council.
