Substance abuse unit gets new HQ

A RENOWNED programme for victims of substance abuse is moving its HQ today. LEAP (Lothians and Edinburgh Abstinence Programme) will now be run from a newly refurbished and newly named Woodlands House, at the Astley Ainslie Hospital site in Morningside.
Balhousie Care Group has agreed to pilot a new reminiscence therapy project, to trigger memories in people with dementia, across its care homes in Scotland.
WELFARE cuts will have a lasting impact on all corners of Glasgow, not just those on benefits, warned the city council's social care leader.

AN INVESTIGATION has been launched into the death of a 99-year-old woman in a care home, police have said.
