New assessor guidance for Dementia Skilled resource - Scottish Social Services Council

Written by The Editorial Team

The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) have published a new resource to support learners, managers, assessors and educators to get the most benefit from the Dementia Skilled – Improving Practice resource.

If you are a manager, the Guidance for learners, managers, assessors and educators will help you to consider how to use Dementia Skilled – Improving Practice and how it supports different learning activities across your service.

If you are a learner, assessor, or educator, you can find out how Dementia Skilled – Improving Practice can support the achievement of different qualifications and how it contributes to other learning activity.

The resource contains two case studies that provide a visual and audio guide demonstrating how Dementia Skilled learning can support the achievement of the SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare and the HNC in Social Services.
