Your new company Through Hays you’ll be working for a leading national care provider who offers a range of supported services to children with autism and learning disabilities at a residential school. Set in scenic grounds in Tewkesbury, you’ll be working with an established team committed to promoting independence. They are currently looking for experienced social care professionals to join their team on along term basis for either day time or night time work. Your new role As a support worker you will provide person centred care and support to children with autism and learning disabilities. You will engage service users in activities, promoting choice, independence and supporting the development of life skills. You will be part of a close and supportive team structure who are committed to deliver excellent care. What you'll need to succeed You will have previous experience supporting vulnerable children or adults within the health and social care sector. Most importantly you need to be someone who has a "can do" attitude, who works on good initiative and be willing to work well as a team to deliver success for the young people in your care.
